Addressing Barriers for Change.
- A.B.C is a project that addresses the Barriers faced for people living with Domestic Violence.
- We support and empower individuals to gain control and choice over thier own lives.
- Some of the barriers faced by our clients are Disability, Mental Health, Cultural, Drugs or Alcohol dependancy, Homelessness.
- Our aim is to ensure comprehensive support for people experiencing domestic Violence.
- We do this by offering a non judgmental listening ear, practical and emotional support
- We can offer advice and support over the phone, in your home or at a place of your choice.
- We can accompany you when attending appointments with Solicitors, Social Services, Housing, CAB. We can also support you through the court process ans attend any meeting relevent to your support plan.
Our Staff
- You can talk to us in strictest confidence, in a safe place and we will listen to what you have to say and your needs and use this as a guide to help us develope your support package.
- Our staff will not judge you or your situation.
- We will place you at the centre of the support which is provided.
- We will be helpful and courteous at all times.
- We will use plain language in all our correspondence to you.
- We will act with honesty, integrity, sensitivity and respect at all times.
