In addition to the freephone helpline service which is available, Worst Kept Secret provide staff to facilitate following training sessions:
A full-day training session which covers: introduction to WKS, the definition of domestic violence/abuse, prevalence of domestic abuse (myths & truths), Different aspects of domestic abuse, cycle of violence, why survivors stay, barriers. potential effects on children and services available.
This session can be presented to a maximum of 20 people, it will last a full day and the cost will be £300 plus VAT for 10 participents any additional places will be charged at £25.00 per head. One supplementary information and supporting CD is included in this price.
We also run a number of multi agency training sessions thoughout the year, these are charged at £40 per person and include a light lunch. Please contact us for up and coming dates.
We invite attendees to be pro-active in these sessions which often lead to thought provoking debates/discussions.
These sessions are suitable to any agency who would like an introduction to domestic violence/abuse.
